The
key to a healthy diet is not only reducing food portions but also having to eat
healthy foods and balanced with exercise. By eating healthy foods the body
will have plenty of energy enough to exercise. Thus, the body weight will be
ideal and the body will be fit.

A Healthy Diet
Everyone
wants to get the ideal body. To get the ideal body, people will reduce the
portion of food or go on a diet. However, many people get it wrong in diet.
According to data from the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes, 2018), 95.5% of
Indonesians have an unhealthy diet. If people do the wrong diet, their
nutrition will be disturbed because their daily vitamin and mineral needs are
not fulfilled (Titi
Handayani et al., 2011). Therefore, people must have a
healthy diet so that the body stays healthy and has adequate nutrition.
In
healthy diet, people cannot skip breakfast. Many people think that eating
breakfast while dieting will cause weight gain. In fact, breakfast can speed up metabolism and burn fat.
According to (Huang
et al., 2012) stated that the group who did
not eat breakfast had a poorer quality of life than the group of people who
regularly ate breakfast. In addition, with
breakfast the body will also have energy so that it is eager to do sports.
Next,
eat lots of vegetables and fruit. Vegetables and fruit are good for consumption
when dieting because they have low fat content and high fiber, so they can control
hunger. In the diet, people need to rich in vitamins and minerals that are good
for health and digestive system. Eating fruits and vegetables regularly cannot
only lose weight quickly but also can lower cholesterol and blood glucose
levels in the body (Briawan
et al., 2020).
According
to (Kamal
et al., 2013) efforts to lose weight by
exercising with a duration of 30 minutes can burn fat in the body by 64.9 kcal.
Exercise can also increase muscle growth, so the body will have a greater proportion
of muscle than fat (Pegram,
2020). Thus, exercise will reduce fat
mass, but will be followed by increasing muscle mass.
The
key to a healthy diet is not only reducing food portions but also having to eat
healthy foods and balanced with exercise. By eating healthy foods the body will
have plenty of energy enough to exercise. Thus, the body weight will be ideal
and the body will be fit.
